Curriculum

The Cross River Rail Experience Centre offers free school excursion and incursion opportunities, providing activities for students with interactive digital visualisation technologies, STEAM and HASS learning resources, cultural heritage content, and project progress information.

The activities offered through the free education program provide real-world examples to support classroom learning. With one of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects on our doorstep, South East Queensland students have the opportunity to hear from subject matter experts, witness first-hand how their city is changing and understand the benefits of Cross River Rail.

Build the ideal excursion for your students from a diverse range of engaging and hands-on learning experiences.

Excursions of up to two hours are recommended.

SCHOOL EXCURSIONS AND INCURSIONS

BESPOKE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES:

The Experience Centre team can work with you to craft a bespoke learning opportunity for your cohort.

Work with us to create a learning opportunity like no other.

SCHOOL INCURSION PROGRAM

Where schools face barriers to visiting the Experience Centre, we can arrange an incursion. These involve either a presentation at your school from a specialist involved in the construction of Cross River Rail and/or an activity delivered by our Experience Centre facilitators, depending on your needs.

Contact us to discuss your requirements.

GOLD COAST EDUCATION

We also offer a dedicated program for schools on the Gold Coast to support community engagement and awareness of the three new stations being delivered at Pimpama, Hope Island and Merrimac.
