A tunnel is simply a hollow tube cut through soil or rock, but there is nothing simple about the construction of a man-made tunnel. In this challenge, junior engineers will receive a design brief, then need to build a tunnel out of recycled material.

Recommended for ages 5+, adult supervision encouraged.

This is a drop in session, please feel free to just turn up during this time.

Seed mosaics

Most of the plants in the Green Spine along Albert Street, from the tallest trees to the smallest shrubs, will have grown from seeds. Explore the importance of trees and take inspiration from different types of seeds to create a mosaic masterpiece.
